Tindall Park at SouthPark Apartments

Deeply Disappointed! Tis the season for joy and family to come together, but this holiday I have been deeply disappointed by Tindall Park Apartments. For such a luxury apartment community, and especially at such a luxury priceI am astounded at how many maintenance difficulties Ive had to endure on this holiday. On Christmas Eve, on Christmas Day, and the two days following Christmas as well. The power went out for a couple of hours in early morning of Christmas Eve. Once the power came back on, the heat in my unit failed. As the temp in my unit dropped to nearly 60 degrees, the emergency maintenance person eventually arrived and, after a time, repaired to the heating component. It was well into the evening by the time the heat rose to a bearable temp. Then, on Christmas morning, we repeated it all again! Again, the emergency maintenance person responded, eventually, after the third callAgain, he worked diligently to fix the heating component. On the day after Christmas, there was some sort of fire emergency in the building. Thankfully, it looks like it was contained to one unit and no one was injured. However, ultimately the sprinkler line burst which required shutting off the water to the building to shut down the sprinkler system. This was my first Christmas in Charlotte, and my elderly mothers first visit to my new apartment in Charlotte. The fact that we were in the cold for the two days of Christmas and have been without water since 6pm on Monday is not only astounding, and not what I expected in a luxury community at this price pointit is also a complete embarrassment that the problems we endured throughout the entire holiday were primarily due to property maintenance. I have to acknowledge there was work on the repairs needed. But its unsettling to think that if there is any crisis at all, the systems in the building/my unit are not likely to hold up. I feel deeply disappointed in Tindall Park Apartments this holiday season.

Apartments are 5 Stars.  The complex management and managers (Cushman-Wakefield) don't even qualify for ONE star.  Building is not secured a good deal of the time, no staff on site when posted, garbage backed up, dirty carpets and halls, grounds I'll kept and no seasonal plantings, emergency incidents staff i MIA and the list goes on.  What is advertised as luxury apartments is true for the residents themself and a low rent slum for the building and management.

Beautiful community! Top tier customer service! I went and toured last week with a community manager, Josh, and he had the answers to every question before even asking! I loved the size of their master closets and was one of the only communities that have separate stand-alone shower and separate tubs that i toured! I have nothing but positivity coming from me during the touring and leasing process! It is in a great location to conveniently get anywhere you need to go in Charlotte! Highly recommend this property!

Lived at Tindall Park for more than a year. It is truly an upscale, small community of large, well-appointed apartments. The building has many good attributes for comfortable living, with two drawbacks in my mind: 1/ half of the building faces either Park or Sharon Road, both of them quite noisy avenues 2/ lacks a swimming pool or larger open areas, if you enjoy some of that. The real problem (but a MAJOR one) started when Cushman and Wakefield took over the building, in April 2022. They seem to be deliberately ruining everything that worked well. The overall cleaning routines became less than regular. Halls OFTEN smell from trash that is not timely picked up. Carpets that were spotless were filled with strains. Roaches are back, after some years. Even minor details, like coffee areas and a fridge where renters could relax and entertain visitors are now inhospitable and empty. Manager never shows up and turnover within the C&W is rampant. The contrast is massive, as this building used to have an outstanding property manager (Corey) who was on top of things, knew everyone and was very hands-on. Current Management seems to be trying to monetize their investment, reducing spend and increasing rates (circa 50%). Net result = the property is much less occupied. They go to extremes .. for example, our elevator which never failed in 10 months had at least three failure episodes in May and June 2022, including a very serious one with people inside of it. For a 3 floors community with some senior people who only have one elevator available, this may mean they cannot go out, receive their grocery or attend medical appointments. I repeatedly tried to raise C&Ws awareness and concluded they just dont care (still waiting for the regional manager to respond to mails and calls) Its a pity
