The place was close, I think it is in the Remodeling process but it shows that it was functioning.

Horrid experience. My first floor room was dirty. Could not be barefoot in my room. I think the first floor has been flooded, only a few rooms in operation, and I could detect water damage in my room. When I arrived, was told that the breakfast advertised on the website had been discontinued. The exterior is in major need of maintenance. Wonderful location, but I think this place is taking its last breath before it is torn down for new development.

Rooms: The room was very nice, clean, bright. Great view from the porch overlooking the harbor area. The staff was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. So sad to find out they will be closing come September for renovations, we were hoping to stay there again on our next trip through in September.
Walkability: Easy walk to Beaufort waterfront, shops, dining. Beautiful historic homes.
