I can not express enough how wonderful the care of Dr. Jackson and his team has been. From the first apt. when I was diagnosed with a Dermoid ovarian cyst and we discussed the options to the pre-op apt. and then the day of surgery ....every time I felt well cared for by Dr. Jackson and all the staff. Dr. Jackson was easy to talk to, answered all my questions and exuded a confidence in his ability to care for me while still being very humble and down to earth. The Advent Health Hospital in Fletcher was clean and had a warm feeling to it. Even in the pre-op room there were nature photos on the walls that had a calming effect. Then right before surgery when I told Dr. Jackson I was terrified of surgery he kneeled beside my bed held my hand and assured me all would be well and then asked if he could pray with me. As if he had all the time in the world! One of the OR team held my hand all the way from pre-op to OR. Then after in recovery the nurse was there talking to me...not just typing on her computer. An otherwise terrifying experience became an incredibly wonderful experience. Besides the wonderful care of Dr Jackson and all the hospital staff I have also been please that EVERYTIME I call the OBgyn office a real live person answers the phone. And they even answered my billing questions!!! I live in Madison County so it is quite a drive down to Arden and Fletcher , however it is completely worth it. I highly recommend Dr. Jackson and Advent Health to anyone looking for a health care team that still realizes the importance of good bed side manner, something that in many health care establishments has gone by the wayside.
