When I'm working I spend most of my summer living on the road out of hotels. I've stayed at many different hotels of varying quality. It's safe to say this place absolutely blew even the grimiest most disgusting places I've stayed at out of the water making them look like luxury suites by comparison. To begin with, I only needed to book here because there was a mix up on the schedule and I needed to stay in town only one extra night. As I said, I've been to some less than ideal places that work in a pinch so I figured how bad could it be? I checked in for over $190 after tax. When I inspected my room I found bedbugs, cockroaches, stains of unidentified substances on just about everything in the room, and a significant crack in the seam of the already barely secure door. I thought to myself..ok this is pretty bad, but it's just one night I'll make it work. That was until I got back from a long day at work to rap music blasting, people hanging off the banisters screaming, and people physically fighting in the parking lot while clearly under the influence of God knows what. Nevertheless I hurried into my room and locked the door and got ready to settle down when I was startled by banging on my window. I'd had enough at that point and decided to get out of there. I went to the office and very politely explained all of this to the lady working there and simply asked for a refund so I can find another place to stay. As expected from a sleazy place like this, she refused to give me my money back. Even so, it was worth the loss to go to another hotel being the first and only time I've ever done so. Rooms: Outdated and gross. Safety: Lot's of very aggressive (and likely actually dangerous) people occupying the place, coupled with the fact that it's a motel so rooms are directly accessible from the outside. The owners couldn't care less.
