A coworker of mine has a daughter who went into this store to look for a prom dress. She left extremely upset as she was body shamed by the salespeople. I wont repeat what was said to her, but I will say this: it is NEVER ok to body shame anyone and it is heartbreaking to hear that a young, impressionable teenager was subjected to this. It appears as though this is the norm for this particular shoppe, as evidenced by their reviews. And yes, they have many good reviews, but I really only need to see one body shaming review to know I will NEVER support this business. Shame on you, The Jacqueline Shoppe. Do better.

My daughter has a very busy schedule as a RN. We drove in to the Village of Williamsville to get her a dress for a huge occassion. Bo helped us find her dress. I believe it's the people who make a store. Bo was truly exemplary, she was the CEO of her product. Thanks Bo!

ZERO STARS!!! I brought my daughter into the shop today. She found the dress of her dreams (she's been searching for this dress since she saw it in April). Unfortunately my daughter is very athletic and conditioned but needs a size 16 in a dress. The dress in the store was an 8. When I asked the owner if it could be ordered in a bigger size I was not only told rudely that the dress was $650 (like the saleslady in the movie Pretty Woman) but I was also told she wouldn't be happy and it would show 'every crevice'. Mind you while she was saying this she was taking the dress from me and putting it back on the rack. She then proceeded to try to sell my daughter a dress that she told her she didn't want. I'm not sure how this woman has stayed in business as long as she has treating people like she does. We were first timers in her shop and that's the last time too.
