Broadview Federal Credit Union

This bank is the worst. I miss SEFCU. Taking all my money out & moving to a new bank. They lie to you, telling you one thing & the assessor another thing. What a waste of time and energy, so disappointed with this institution.

Broadview is the worse bank ever first of I had loan with them and I had paid for insurance through them incase I got sick or became unemployed I had called them and told them that I was going to need to use it as I had got sick the person I spoke with told me I was alert if any questions they would call me or email me then because they never paid they turned around and repossessed my co signers car that they had a completely different loan that had nothing to do with the loan and theirs payments were up to date at most they could have Garnish their wages but no the loan was only a $6000 loan and the truck was a $45,000 truck. Ive spoke to an attorney thats going to take care of it but this bank I would never recommend to nobody.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Been waiting on a new debit card for a month after mine expired. Called multiple times and was told if I needed my card sooner I could drive 5 hours to another branch and get it. I called every week for 4 weeks looking to see where my card was and I was just offered a rush today for the first time after Ive been waiting for my card for A WHOLE MONTH. Mind you this shouldve been put on a rush the first time I called upset. I have no access to the money in my account and can only get cash on the weekends because of my work hours. After discussing this with a branch member I was informed that the card maker was out of service for a week about a month prior and this is the reason for the delay however I was told 7-10 business days over a month ago. I just had to leave work during my work day and pulled all my money from my account to open up an account and get a card printed on the spot with another bank.

Its hard to find but if you go in the same entrance as the CVS and look right thats where it is. Banking is done via a kiosk with a video teller in Albany. It beats having no downtown branch but I wish they had gone with a real branch and hired in-person tellers in Syracuse.
