I spilled some red wine on my wool Oriental rug. The rug is a light colored so the stain really was an eye sore. I made several attempts to clean it myself and maybe even made it worse by doing that! I found Green Island Carpet and they suggested an in home estimate so the technician can see the rug in person. After he arrived and assessed the damage, Greg was confident they could fix the stain. I agreed to the quote and they left with my rug right then and there. About two weeks later the rug has been returned and all I can say is WOW! Absolutely no signs of the stain whatsoever. But not only that, the rug itself looks a million times better. I was probably due for a cleaning anyway. This is a very professional local Staten Island company and I am happy to recommend their services!

My first experience was with the customer service rep on the phone when I called in to make an appointment. The rep was very friendly, patient with all my questions and explained the cleaning process thoroughly over the phone. The day of the appointment I was even more impressed with the level of service. They called the night before the appointment to confirm and then called again 30 minutes before they got to my house to give me a heads up. The cleaning crew was very professional, there were two men and they walked through the house with me and pointed out all areas of concern. I had them clean and deodorize three bedrooms and my basement carpet. The work was quick and thorough, and the carpets dried fast. They look , smell and feel great. Overall a wonderful experience with this company.

Could not believe how clean these guys got my carpets! If you are in staten island and in the market for a carpet cleaning, look no further...I have two dogs and its so hard keeping after them. The carpet is a light color so the traffic patterns are very visible. Green Island Carpet came highly recommended so I booked an appointment. When the technicians showed up they were on time, and even called 30 minutes before the got here to let me know. After a quick petting session with my dogs (they loved them) they wet over the different cleaning options. I went with the deep cleaning and deodorizing. The job took about an hour and I noticed the difference immediately after they were done. It's been about 2 weeks now since they did the work and my carpets still look and smell great. I will definitely be using them again when the time comes.
