CertaPro Painters of Albany, NY - Closed

We used CertaPro Painters of Albany to do just the ceilings and crown molding in our new home and garage. They gave us a very competitive quote and then started the job immediately. Vick and Gobin did the work over a 2-1/2 day period. They were very careful and efficient. The ceilings look great and they fixed any area that we thought needed extra work. If the need arises, we will use them again.

We have used certa pro for several projects both inside and out. Their work is of a high quality and the finished product looks wonderful. They conduct themselves professionally and the work is completed on schedule and the home was left clean.

Gentlemen came to offer an estimate. They took measurements, etc. they were very pleasant and professional. However, failed to send me the estimate. I have been asking for over two weeks I was told last week that they would send the next day yet one week later still no proposal. Not good customer service Ok so reviews are a tool for both the consumer and the companies for process improvements. I received a call shortly after my post (above) whereas I was promised my estimate. That was two days ago and still no proposal DO NOT USE this company. They are running a shady operation. I had a scheduled appointment and two days prior I had a few questions prior to the painting. I sent my inquiries only to be called by someone who had no knowledge of my project. I asked for the gentleman who would be in my home and was told that he did not need to speak with me. Lastly, I called the project off, as I had a bad gut feeling I asked for my down payment back and have no response to date This company is shady and not professional at all. They owe me my down payment. Attorney General is the next stop
