The Brook is the worst of several, facilities that I have been in. The weeks I was in a housekeeper only dusted once. You can lay in your own bowel movement for hours, like I did, on several occasions. Several of the aides were way to rough on elderly patielts....me for one. They are over run with mice you could smell drugs in the hallway. Almost daily you noticed that all nurses and aides were on their dinner break at same time. The list goes on forever. Please do not take your loved ones here.

If I could leave zero stars I would. I can not say anything good about this place. It's filthy and falling apart. The care is sub par at best. Patients are waiting hours to be toileted after pressing call buttons . They have patients falling out of bed while aides are calling the patients names such as woose.. and that is a direct quote. The social worker is rude and the manager won't return your calls. Please I urge you do NOT put your loved one in this facility.

I would never recommend this place. Their rehab room looks like a closet. Some staff was rude and combative but Vernetta was my fav aide there. Shes patient and caring

Mom was here for almost 3 weeks, and we will never have her sent back to this facility. Run down, not easily accessible, broken stairs, railings, beds that are dank and way past their useability, dirty, dark, gloomy. They actually advised that we DROP mom's medical insurance so that we could trick the system for extended stay coverage! Getting clear information from the business office and medical team was impossible, fighting for a discharge plan was literally that - a fight; with a threat that "if we leave AMA.... mom's future coverage would be at risk." Meds not arranged for properly upon discharge. I could go on. The Physical Therapist was excellent - when he was there. That was also a challenge to get intel on how many sessions Mom was due to receive during her stay, All in all, just not a well-managed operation. Will never go back.

Mother in law stayed here for rehab. Was awful. Sometimes didnt get meds. She did so much herself. Discharge was a mess meds werent called in for her to use the same day. Staff always fighting and swearing in hallway. So unprofessional. Her diet wasnt followed at all by kitchen. Lost some her clothing. Had to go thru a weird office to come in to visit. If afters hours call and be brought in by delivery door. I wouldnt use this place ever again. My mother in law couldnt wait to leave. I would look for something else.
