Bank of America (Lobby Service Only)

My Kia Optima was stolen. I have been on time with my payments since Ive owned the vehicle. I asked for an extension this month so I can pay for a rental. The insurance company is paying for repairs thankfully, but since these cars are being stolen so much, the parts are on back order. The insurance company will only allow me a month to have the vehicle. I asked for an extension so that I can pay for a rental out of pocket. Bank of America did not give me an extension at all. Plus there is no security because their whole bank system was hacked. I will never open up an account! I will never do another car loan with them ever again.

Branch needs more tellers. Every time Im here 1 teller and multiple people in line. Crazy people dont want to work. Im sure they would hire.

Customer service is the lowest I have ever experienced at a BOA. I travel across the whole country using BOA and this location is by far the worst in the United States.

I use this bank all the time but I usually go through the ATM, On may 19th 2023 around 10am I came in with a large check issued to me by my employer from my retirement savings to be used to pay a court ordered debt and wanted to get cash payment. A women by the name of mahhad or some name like that she looked Asian or philapino told me they couldn't cash my check because it was considered too large And tried to force me to deposit it in my checking and said I couldn't put it in my savings because there was a negative 5 balance. when I told her to give me my check she tried to beg me not to leave I told her 4 times to give me my check, I've lost all trust with this bank because of this and will be looking to change my bank account because they are putting my life events at a great risk for denying my court ordered request.

I worked in banks for 20 years. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. Here lays the problem. There are two desk people and one of them handles special accounts only. You need an appointment two weeks out. Waiting is useless. teller lines move fast and yes there are two drive through ATMs, thank God. This is a busy branch, they are cutting expenses by not having desk people, bottom line. We had six desk people for this type of flow. When I go to M&T there are no issues with desk help as they pull someone off the teller line or from the back office to help out like Wegmans does when things get really busy, you pull from other resources to keep all the business in house and no one slips away unhappy and goes elsewhere. Bank of America does not see this as a issue as the lack of desk people has been an ongoing issue for years. When I opened my Checking account it took a month to get my card. I never found out why. This means the organization is a transactional organization not a relationship organization so I just use the ATM and go elsewhere for my relationship finances like loans, payments, investments, savings or anything that needs time at a desk. I would never make a two week appointment to see a desk person but that's just my preference.
