Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Plattsburgh

Hotel well located, but there are already signs of wear in the rooms (especially bathroom) however it was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Our room was close to reception on the 2nd floor but not very well insulated we could hear everyone who arrived or spoke. When we arrived we were informed that unfortunately the whirlpool and swimming pool were closed. Finally it was reopened following a request to the Mariott service. Once again the next day everything was still non-functional. Lunch was ok for the cold or waffle and toast portion but everything was cold in the hot section. Fortunately the staff there were very helpful and did everything they could to help us.

Booked this hotel because it had a hot tub. And paid more than other options for that reason. Then when I stayed the pool and hot tub were closed, first night for bromine treatments, and the rest of my nights because of a leak in the roof. They tried to send me to the Days Inn since they had a business relationship somehow, and the roof there was leaky, and the building was moldy and creepy. And then it turned out the hot tub broke, so I couldn't even use it. When I complained they said they wouldn't make it up to me. Don't stay here. They don't care.

The manager is not professional scared to talk to customers, I asked to speak with him for the 5 nights I was there, Nik Patel never communicated. I could tell the management is poor because bedsheets were not clean front desk is most unattended.
