        Opened a CD three months ago. Money was to be transferred from another institution. I have the paperwork. It never happened. I went to bank. Person who opened account was not there. Left my phone number. No response. Called again. Took my name. No response again. I would give this branch- Orchard Park - zero stars.

        BEWARE: the ATM kept my BoA debit card. The teller and manager kept my card despite verifying my ID citing a company policy bc it is from another bank with conflicting stories of what happened to the card. They have my card in hand and tell me I need to go to BoA to have another printed.

        One of the best business moves I've ever done was switching away from *&* and moving my accounts to Five Star Bank (That was about 14 years ago). This bank does not attempt to fee you to death. The staff is always friendly and always willing to go above and beyond to help me with my sometimes odd requests. Great Business. Thank you! A+

We genuinely regret the disappointment you have expressed. There are varying reasons an ATM may retain a card and because we do not have the necessary information to assess the reason a non-Five Star Bank card was retained, we take the position to protect the account holder and their assets. We destroy the card and ask the card holder to request a new card from their financial institution. We apologize for any frustration this has caused.
