    Shame on you all who work here. I highly suggest that you ALL take a refresher course in patient etiquette. My friend was rushed through her appointment and blamed for being late, despite arriving 15 minutes early and then waiting for an extra 45 minutes before being seen. She was then rushed through her whole procedure (an internal ultrasound), which, to anyone who does not do the procedure every day of their lives, can be very scary and invasive. A student was also standing in the room the whole time and did not introduce herself, nor did the attending introduce the student or even ask if the student could present in the room! The student was only addressed when my friend asked the doctor to stop the procedure and asked who she was. Absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable!!! Shame on all of you. You NEVER make a patient feel rushed or uncomfortable ESPECIALLY when doing a procedure such as this one. My friend was also treated rudely by reception staff and told to fill out improper paperwork. Everyone who works here needs to take a moment to reflect on how you act towards your patients and how your actions impact other peoples lives. I dont care if youre busy, or if its routine for you, or whatever your excuse is. Do better. Treat others how you would want to be treated. Shame shame shame. You should not be in the healthcare field if this is how you treat others.

    **UPDATE- I was able to speak to someone who was able to resolve my issue to a satisfactory resolution and has left me with a more positive feeling toward Northwell. I would never recommend Northwell to anyone! While my actual visit was fine, I was billed for physician visit that I did not see and was "included" for a service i did have without prior notification that this would be part of the charge. When I tried to call billing and insurance,it took me over 8 hours of being on hold and transferred to various locations and departments with no one being able to help resolve. The last person I spoke to in billing, rudely hung up on me when I was trying to ask something. Heads up, you will be scammed here for extra charges. **Based on the other reviews here, it looks like they scam alot of people.

    The phone operators are extremely rude and unprofessional when it comes to scheduling and canceling appointments. They answer with such hostility and cut you off every time you try to talk . Not to mention they are EXTREMELY inflexible when it comes to scheduling two ultrasounds in the same day. I now have to make 2 trips to this place to have two different ultrasounds done instead of making one trip. I never heard of one type of ultrasound being stopped at 2:30. I find this extremely ridiculous that they cant do everything at one appointment when I am already there in the room and its the same machine just a different body part. Anything to make extra money ! Find some place else to go! I will not be coming back to them after this ! Not to mention one operator hung up on me after I asked to speak to someone else because I was sick of her nasty condescending attitude. GO ELSEWHERE!!
