Best Pet RX

Choose this one if you have no place to throw your money. I got a panacur and metronidazole from them and the cost is 120. This is insane. And when I search on Amazon, panacur is only $8 while their price is $45. No excuse and explanation. They just told me it is their price and I can’t return it. Worst pha I ever try. DON’T CHOOSE IT!!!

Outrageously expensive. A medication that usually costs me $40 is three times the amount here…unbelievable.

They are very helpful over the phone. I get my pets meds in a timely fashion.

Everybody makes mistakes which may not sound like a great opening but I really trust Best Pet Rx. Twice things have not gone as planned and they really worked to fix the problem. My cat has Multiple Myeloma and needs 2 meds that are refrigerated. I live in Litchfield CT so a little bit of a hike. Maybe a month ago, a 90 degree day- the med was delivered by UPS and all of the ice packs were melted and the very cautious packer at Best Pet RX of the meds had placed the pills within the rubber glove pack.- essentially insulating it. The pills were room temp. I called Best Pet RX and they had me talk to one of the pharmacists who told me not to use the meds and they would send another- the meds came by 10am the next day. Yes- you do have to be savvy/worried enough to make the call if you feel something is wrong. Today- I didn;t get the normal UPS delivery notice- important because of the refrigeration- I usually leave work to drive back 30 minutes home to get the meds and refrigerate them. I got a text instead- turns out they sent the meds with the courier- which ended up being a mistake as the courier does not delivery to my town in CT. They do deliver to a town with a very similar name which is about 40 minutes away. The agent talked to his supervisor, they got the courier who ultimately dropped off the meds to my house around 7:15 PM. Again, I did have to notice something was not right. But everyone has been friendly and professional on the phone- they have referred me to the pharmacist when needed and my Vet recommends them and they have really worked to fix any issues- today it was the courier who went out of their expected way to do so. Most importantly- my cat Odin is responding to treatment very well- and they create that treatment. He gets gravy flavoring in his liquid pills and the chemo is compounded in a way that it is tic tac like and goes down his throat fairly easily followed with a syringe of water the vet suggested. It can be pricey- but I don't know what others charge. They have been a strong part- with the vets- of Odin being with me now. I do order refills a few days in advance- I know not everyone can do that- it gives a few days if there are issues. And their phone number is in my phone. I'm very grateful today especially to the agent who realized something was up, his supervisor who contacted the courier , and especially grateful to the courier who delivered the prescription. Best to everyone and their furry ones- may they all get well and stay that way.
