We transferred here from Behavior Vets because we follow Dr. Tu wherever she goes! Our pup absolutely hates the vet and vet trips have always been traumatic and stressful for everyone involved. Since finding Dr. Tu, it is now a completely stress free event. She created a sedation protocol for us that works super well with us; always listens to our concerns; and work with us. I've met plenty of vets that speak over us and just do what needs to get done. I never have that issue with her. Will always recommend working with Dr. Tu!!

I went in and spent almost $700 for my puppys skin infection (blood work, injection, and prescription strength shampoo). They wanted me to come in for a follow-up exam to make sure that my puppy is healing. Of course youd imagine that a follow-up visit would be included as part of treatment to make sure that it actually worked. Today I called to make the appointment and they told me that it would be $130 something for a follow-up visit. When I asked about it, receptionist told me that this was a discounted price and its usually $170 something.
Imagine going to your doctor because you are sick and they do treatment on you, and you follow up in 2 weeks to see if treatment has worked or not and they bill you again for a check-up. Doesnt make any sense. This is not the first time they did this. I came multiple times in the past to get vaccine shots for my puppy (in interval of 1-2 weeks) and they ALWAYS charged an exam fee (over $100) every visit on top of the actual procedure being done. I would avoid this place if possible.

NO HEART ! I WAS a client of Heart of Chelsea. I took my puppy lab there for an ear infection with the owner Dr. Sebring He checked her ears cleaned them , gave medicine to take home. When I walked out I had a 350$ bill . I had a attack , but what could I do..2 weeks later not better , I went back !
After the dr didnt come back in
Because TAMRON HALL was there waiting to see him.
I had an assistant come in..
She ,I assume relayed the information.. again I was presented with another 300$ bill. I was SHOCKED , I asked if i could pay it off . I did in time. Except 70$ ( because I just had a move and forgot) it was a while.)
When I called for LUCY who WAS SICK , I was told I had to pay the balance.
Of course I called and paid it .
Made an appointment for 3pm.
I RECEIVED a CALL..they NOT KNOWING WHAT was Wrong with her .
I was informed the CLINIC WOULD NOT SEE HER WITHOUT PAYING IN FULL!
I WAS REFUSED SERVICE for my SiCK PUPPY.
I HAVE NEVER HEARD of such a thing . NOT TREATING an ANIMAL because of ability to pay in full .
THIS IS A DiSGRACE!
MY SICK PUPPY was REFUSED
TREATMENT.

I specifically schedule visits with Dr. Bassman. I appreciate the consistency of her being familiar with my pet, her manner, her knowledge and her compassion. I love the way she and the staff handle Oliver, so much so that he's excited to arrive there, even though they draw blood, give him inoculations and other annoying things that have too be done. There is a uniquely positive vibe to the place, to the staff, and to Dr. Bassman. Her timely phone call this morning with Oliver's blood test results was timely and reassuring. I know your clinic has the reputation of being expensive, but my ASPCA insurance reimbursed me for much of the surgical care Oliver received last year!
