I worked here till I quit (I have evidence of this) because I couldnt believe how this company operates. Client emails could go weeks without being answered. I cant even count the amount of times I saw a client ask for a refund. Internally, processes were not sincere and transparent. I felt really bad for every client who gave Empire a chance, only to be left disappointed.
So many of these 5* reviews are not real, the team paid for them and everything I just stated I have evidence to back up. Just look at the accounts who are sharing the reviews and all the grammar errors. Please stay away from Empire because you will regret it.

These people are outstanding!!! Seriously, Ive followed them for a while and loved what I saw. Since Ive been a client, Rachels team, and specifically Amandalyn have gone above and beyond in their service, professionalism and humanity! I never feel like a number. They are fun to talk to and super efficient as a business. I just wanted to brag on them a bit! If you need expert financial management, bookkeeping and tax strategies and service, Empire is tier 1! Absolutely golden!

Competent, Kind, and professional!
I own a startup and as such, the services I currently offer is not mature for the service offered by Empire Tax, however I had such an engaging discussion with Amandalyn and see the value in the services that Empire Tax offers, that this time next year I suspect that I will be a full-service client!

Do not trust this company to prepare your taxes. They are incompetent and lack the ability to communicate and manage crucial details. I engaged with them for a couple years and trusted that they were handling everything properly but now I'm having to back date a ton of forms and will have to pay a lot of additional taxes because of their incompetence. Horrible experience. Cost me tens of thousands of dollars.

I am not generally one for censuring people in public, but what this accountant does, breaks all the rules. How they could hold onto their CPA license is a mystery. From running a human farm in the developing world where our data is exported and compromised, to late filing and blaming it on the very clients who trusted her, to giving outright unlawful advise. How, on earth, is she still in business? Oh - I get it, spamming Facebook groups and promising people to go on dates just to get business.
