I dread when I have to visit this post office. A package said it was undeliverable even though I was home all day so I rescheduled delivery online, but then it never came, so I made the trek up to hellgate and inquired.
Luckily, this time they were able to retrieve my package, but not without extreme sass from the desk attendant. The glass is so thick (which I get, safety concerns) but it makes communication impossible and then the workers are always SO ANNOYED when you cant understand what theyre trying to say to you. If I can avoid this location and go to the one on 91st, I do.

I had a very unfortunate situation involving a passport delivery gone wrong, and every single person who worked here went above and beyond to help me out. I really cannot thank the staff enough (I wish I had their names!) -- I got the passport that day thanks to their kindness and patience well beyond what they needed to do.

insanely rude, vile and disrespectful people working here. I've been visiting this post office for 5 years and i just had a horrible experience with the lady at the pick up window - she is NASTY. Wouldn't give me my package because my ID didn't match my preferred name on the package and the apt number was 2 instead of 3. I told her I moved downstairs and my preferred name, which ive never had an issue with prior, was listed on multiple articles of mail along with my government name. Scoffed in my face to her coworker, left her post and refused service. None of the other agents were helpful either.
I even called USPS customer service and they were shocked at how unprofessional this location was being and that with no signature required there should be no issue in picking up a package with a preferred name. I had to go through a rep to schedule a redelivery because this post office down the street didn't want to give me my package.
I will never come back here. If I could give them zero stars I would. None of these people should be working in customer service they are bitter af
