I was able to get an appointment very quickly, Dr Marxs clearly explained the injury and what the surgery would entail. 9 months later I am fully healed and back to doing everything I did before the injury. I would highly recommend him as doctor.

I tore the meniscus in my knee playing tennis. Because of my age (70), the severity of the tear (very bad), and the fact that I already had a TKR in the other knee, the surgeons in my regular group refused to operate - telling me to just stop playing tennis, skiing, working out, water skiing, etc., and instead take it easy from now on (Me: "You mean, like, 'til I die?" Them: "Yes"). Dr. Marx, however, did a more careful analysis, and concluded that I had a decent chance of a favorable outcome and getting back to doing the sports I enjoy. The surgery was a success, I feel great, and I expect to be back on the slopes in March, and the courts in April. Thanks!

Best surgeon and team ever!!! If you need knee surgery, you have come to the right place. Especially if you need ACL surgery, Dr. Marx might literally be #1 in the country and regularly works with professional athletes including the UFC and Julliard! What I love though - is even if you aren't a famous athlete, Dr. Marx and his team treat everyone with the same level of respect, care, and attention. The level of expertise this team has is unmatched, Dr. Marx even wrote a book about ACL treatment and prevention and regularly does advanced research on the topic. Now speaking to my personal experience, I had torn my acl and meniscus playing soccer and needed reconstruction surgery. I had an appt on Friday and was able to book surgery for that coming Wednesday! The Surgical coordinator was super helpful throughout the process. I read Dr. Marx's whole book in a day before my surgery and felt super prepared for what to expect. The lead up and day of surgery was so organized. I had clear instructions and expectations and very clear post-op instructions and a phone number I could call. Dr. Marx calls your contact after surgery and also provides a very clear update on how things went and then Joe, his awesome PA calls you the next day to check on you. This is absolutely amazing service from start to finish from the whole team! I am currently a few months out and recovery is going perfectly and I have had almost 0 pain throughout the entire process! For comparison, I have seen several surgeons over the past 2 years due to other injuries so I can clearly recognize when one is exceptional! (both from an expertise standpoint and bedside manner) Unfortunately, for me I have also experienced the flip side of this and had one surgeon in the past that put me through the worst experience and pain of my life! All this to say, I could not recommend Dr. Marx and his team more! I literally recommended him to a friend who also tore his ACL recently and he just had a successful reconstruction surgery with him last month! We are both thrilled with our experiences and results.

He is an amazing surgeon and person. Hes very knowledgeable, informative and has amazing bed side manner. He really takes time to listen to you.
