So disappointed on my recent visit to the mid-Madison store. I own 8 frames from this company, which can be verified by my buying record. I have been a customer since the mid 1990s, when Mr. Morgenthal was still (thankfully) involved. Recently, I asked a person named Jeffrey if he could straighten the alignment on my lenses on the TRU frame. He made the erroneous assumption that I was (mis)claiming that Morgenthal had misalligned my lenses. At no point did I ever claim this. My lenses have always been done by a nearby Optician, who is also a friend who recently retired. I only asked for a little professional assistance. As a journalist who covers the optical industry, was severely disappointed by this low level of distrust and Jeffrey's prickly pear "attitude".

Wow! I dont understand what the bad reviews are about. Ive been buying glasses from Morgenthal for 15 years and still have all of the pairs I havent lost. Yes, theyre expensive. But their service, aftercare and quality are all top notch, too.
