I had to drop off an Amazon return at this location today. As I approached the counter where the UPS sign was; I saw two employees conversing amongst themselves. Rather than interrupt, I waited for them to finish or acknowledge me. Another customer walks in and one of the two employees rushes to help him with returning his package. The remaining employee (Mohammad) then faces me to ask if I needed assistance. I dont know why I wasnt treated with the same eagerness the way the man that came in after me was. How was he helped before me? I dont want to blame this as a race issue because both employees were minorities, so am I, but the other customer was not. I just would like them to understand that they need to treat everyone with the same fairness, equality and politeness. I called the store to complain and spoke to the manager. I couldnt tell if she was unfazed, annoyed, dislikes her job or just wasnt surprised at what I was conveying over the phone. Either way, Ive always been treated very nicely at this location. I am not sure if the employee culture is shifting to hire people for numbers and not taking the quality of service in to consideration.

The customer service SUCKS. This location always has HORRIBLE service! I'm definitely going to corporate.

I truly had a wonderful experience with Montana who works in Staples Union Square. She was truly kind and understanding with a situation I needed help with, and she really took time and had a lot of patience. I truly appreciate all her help and thoughtfulness!!
