I came here for my lunch with my mom and we had such a lovely time. We had the best server Paola and she was so efficient and sweet too. She recommended the mint tea which has large slices of fresh ginger and mint and was so warming on a chilly day. Also ordered a bowl of harira soup to share with bourekas to start. Both dishes were delicious and ample for a lunch app. I had the moussaka which was not a traditional Greek version though so hot and incredible flavor. We also shared a platter of falafel and hummus with eggplant and fluffy pita bread. Such a pleasant spot and I am coming back to sit in the garden on a warmer day. The decor is also welcoming with little plush stools and lamps. Maybe at night it would be so cosy as well !

I live two blocks away from this restaurant and have been meaning to try it for a year. Let me tell you, I am upset that I waited this long to come here. The staff is super accommodating and recommended great options. The owner Lola is so friendly and makes you feel like you are eating at a best friends home and she is taking care of you with love and food.We were three people and ordered the dips with fresh bread. Normally at a Mediterranean restaurant dips are what they are but these served with the warm pita and pieces of Jerusalem bagels were special (highly recommend the hummus and baba). We also added a tabouleh salad which we liked so much that we finished it within minutes. The real stars of the show were the entrees.  The two meat eaters at the table shared the chicken kebob and the lamb burger. The pescatarian ordered the shrimp kebab. The kebabs were awesome and served with rice, and some great vegetables. Highly recommend dipping in the house made jalapeño aioli that had a nice kick to it. The lamb burger was extraordinary (was so good I texted my other friends in the neighborhood about it as soon as I left). We ordered it rare and It was perfectly juicy and the pickled onions and yogurt sauce added some great flavor and texture. This dish  will make it in to my  monthly rotation 100%.We were very full at this point but we're so impressed with the food that we ordered dessert. The desserts change everyday but everything that was coming out of that kitchen looked spectacular. We will definitely be back, and I am already dreaming of my next meal at lashevet!
