East River Medical Imaging

I've been having my annual mammograms at East River for a couple years. The fact that technicians/doctors can never see what's going on with the images on my mammogram and ultrasound, and I always have to come back for new images (and of course pay for them) makes me feel really insecure about the facility.

Arrival, check-in, and bone density test all went well. Lovely technician who took the bone density in explaining what she was focusing on.

After waiting 6 months for my appointment, i get a message days before saying they are cancelling it due to be ing short staffed. Then they reschedule me for a weekend even though I have told i am coming in for a concern . When i get there they tell me no one is there to read the images and if needed so they tell me to leave. After some persuasion they agree to do the imaging. I get the results that there is a concern in my left breast and I need to come back in. I called for a month and so did my gyn. I emailed. and today, Halloween, I finally get through. I am told all my past images are currently lost and will take sometime to find so they are not sure they can reschedule me. i tell them I was told my images were compared and I have a concern. And if I have breast cancer and its aggressive and I have been continually put off this will become a very big issue. I have used your services for years and felt secure. Not I feel like you are a total mess putting my life and the lives of all your patients in jeopardy. If you cannot fulfill what you are meant to do, admit it and refer us and give our info to the place you refer us to. That would be responsible.
