Lexus of Manhattan

My lease is coming due on another luxury car and so I made an appointment to test drive an SVU, although I wasnt sure what model I was interested in. I received a phone call over the weekend and several emails prior to my appointment to confirm the date and time. When I arrived, the sales associate I had been communicating with wasnt there and I was assigned another one. He immediately said he would bring down a car for me to test drive, however I said I wanted to first sit in the different models to determine which one I wanted to test drive. He excused himself, came back and told me he had to attend a short meeting. I sat there for a good 15 minutes, and when he did not return I finally left. Im so glad I made an appointment. What rude service. I would NEVER consider buying or leasing a car there, despite living close to the dealership. I will be going to a different dealership to look at the Lexus cars. I can only imagine how poor their service is!!!!

Lexus have Manhattan did an excellent job gaining my business. In particular, I was working with Raymond Liang over the course of several months. I was interested in a vehicle that was still in the concept phase (Lexus TX), and I told him I was interested in purchasing this vehicle once it was released in production. I wanted a dealer contact to try to gain as much information as possible about the vehicle, and when it would be released, and he did an excellent job of getting me information with no guarantee that he would be making a sale again given that this vehicle was still a concept. Even after the vehicle came out, I extended my current lease, but still had thoughts of getting the TX. Raymond respectfully kept in contact, not in a pushy way, and eventually I was able to make a great deal with him. He didnt work hard to force-sell me the car, he worked hard to inform me about the car, and get me a great deal, which is something I really appreciate from a salesman and what is ultimately what won my business. Highly recommended gentleman and dealership. Raymond definitely went above and beyond and did an excellent job in terms of maintaining a dialogue with me across several months. The day I came in to complete the transaction, I was welcomed warmly by the sales manager, Sunny who definitely understands customer, service, and experience. And I really appreciate it the help and friendliness of the supporting staff such as the financial manager I worked with, Sherwin Goodluck and also assistance from Nick Hernandez. I know I can be a tough customer after years of working with car salesman (I am a car guy/enthusiast with over 12 different vehicle transactions, both private and through dealerships, under my belt within the last 10 yrs - I am not new to the business). All of them were definitely interested in supporting me, and geared towards a positive customer service experience.
