        Today I checked out of Hampton Inn Madison Square Garden and I am surprised by the lack of basic necessities at this hotel. When I initially checked in it was to a dirty room that obviously had not been cleaned. I also had to ask for basic things like towels and toilet paper several times before I received them. The front desk does not answer the phone. I had to physically walk down and ask for the things I needed. Last but not least, the toilet did not work. We asked for assistance and the staff took their time fixing it. It is quite shameful and I would not recommend this stay to anyone especially for the cost. I asked to speak to the manager and never received a direct response.
