Stayed here on an overnight (trip in for some arts events) and couldn't be happier with the experience. The hotel is in pristine condition, well appointed, and super clean. The staff and management are really friendly, courteous, and helpful. It's right around the corner from Grand Central and a number of subway lines. Highly recommend this beautiful little gem.

Worst staff, not worth your time

From its location so close to Grand Central (1 block) to the welcoming warm staff and decor, I will be returning and referring this place. Rahman was quick with check-in every time I returned and even upgraded me to beautiful cathedral like room complete with stain glass windows and concave ceilings. Beautiful. Rooms were clean and stocked with great quality toiletries. Bathrooms are bright gorgeous marbled floor and walls. The hallmark curved stairwell truly add to the antiqued character of NYC architect. There are quotations re NY along walls and brilliant colorful lighting fixtures everywhere. The location is quiete enough for rest but centrally located for easy access to many Midtown attractions. Christian is an excellent representative of this hotel btw. Goes beyond to make sure a stay is memorable.
