Horrible, worst in the area. Should not be a 4 star hotel. Lobby reeks of Marijuana, staff just standing around, no sense of urgency, no hospitality. Tiny shower, pillows have zero support. Room had broken hairdryer, took over 30 minutes for the bellhop to get around to replacing it. I had to leave with wet hair, and present at a business conference looking insane. I've stayed at over a dozen hotels in this area and bar none Park Terrace was the absolute worst. Luma Hilton or Bryant Park hotwl right next door, similar prices and leagues above as alternatives.

The staff went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful stay. The room was super quiet. We were within walking distance to the bus or the metro. We will be back.

Fantastic location, facing the gorgeous Bryant Park / Public Library and at walking distance from many tourist spots. Several subway stations just minutes away, we could reach all our Manhattan destinations quickly and easily. Our room was new, quiet, very clean and quite large for New York standards. However, we were given a room at a relatively low floor (7th) and on the back of the building, facing adjacent buildings few meters away. It was even a struggle to tell the weather before leaving our room, as we could barely see the sky... In hindsight, we should have requested to change it. Breakfast is not included in the price, and good breakfast options nearby are expensive, as everything in New York. We had found mentions of microwave ovens being provided in the rooms, but this was not the case with ours. Only a Nespresso coffee machine and unlimited drinking water. All in all we recommend this hotel and would consider staying again.

The location of this hotel is great, however the hotel itself is just okay, and the value does not match the price. It is simply not worth it to purchase a nicer category of rooms. If you don't have a view, then the outlook is onto a dirty brick building (photo attached). Most of the hotel staff isn't very accommodating. The bellman was helpful. Their wine happy hour is in a very awkward location, although the attendant was nice and they have a decent selection. Rooms: The bed is somewhat comfortable, however I agree with others the pillows have no support. The layout is small, and the multipurpose table is not good ergonomically if you need to work on your laptop. If you don't have a room with a view, it is extremely disappointing and not worth paying for an upgrade.
