I highly encourage you all to find a different blood doctor that will better support your needs and value you as a patient. I had this office reschedule my appointment numerous times and when I finally showed up they told me it would be a small wait only to then tell me they would have to reschedule again because the doctor wasnt in. I literally had them confirm the appointment a few days earlier and now suddenly my doctor isnt in. I wish they had been clear from the start. It was a horrible experience and these reviews clearly indicate an organizational issue at this office.

I saw Dr. Grand at the NY Cancer & Blood Specialists on Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn and both visits were a nightmare. At today's appointment I literally walked out before a transfusion because he prescribed a medication that apparently pregnant Woman could not take; thankfully the Nurse caught his mistake right before we began the process. When I asked to see him to discuss the situation he didn't even have the decency to come out and speak to my Husband & I. He sent his PA instead who was mumbling words and couldn't even explain what the side effects of the medication was, needless to say, I will not be returning.

I have no issues concerning medical care & nurses . However, selective females at the front desk are a bit rude. Please try to be at least a little kinder and nice. Every time I have an appointment and have to deal with some of them, my whole mood changes in such a negative way. Internally ?-!-/!? I am furious right now. Please be kind to your patients, most of us are nervous going there.
