Not organized. My mammo appointment was scheduled for the March the city shut down. When I was finally able to get a mammo I tried to get a new referral with a current date but they refused and had me make ANOTHER appointment for a new referral. UPDATE: I was informed they now have their own mammography unit and did not have to go to Lenox Hill Radiology. At my appointment the mammography tech was out and no one bothered to call and reschedule our (my mom and I) afternoon appointment. We wasted a trip there. I had to schedule another car service trip for my disabled wheelchair mother because we were rescheduled. Memorial Sloan Kettering did the reading which was negative but with density. Due to past issues and density I ALWAYS have an ultrasound with or after my mammogram. Whoever read my results never suggested or referred an ultra sound. I had to ask my gynecologist to write a referral for my ultra sound I will not be returning.

I never knew it existed because I was always going to the 66th Street location. I recently went here for my annual mammogram and I must say I was very pleased with the service that I got from everyone there. I will be going here from now on!

I initially reached out to the center to schedule a mammogram because I had concerns even though Im not 40 yrs old. I spoke with a woman who was quite rude and she informed me that I would not be able to receive a mammogram because Im not of age, despite the fact that women under 40 girls and men get breast cancer. Her supervisor did call to follow up w/ me. He was empathetic and assured me that the person would be addressed accordingly. I didnt let this experience stop me from advocating for my health, and was able to receive a mammogram at Lenox Hill Radiology. I did not receive any pushback nor mistreatment or negativity, and there were women of all ages at the center. So, if you are looking for a good facility I recommend checking out Lenox Hill Radiology.
