Another masterwork by Gordon Bunshaft (1909-1990) of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. It opened in 1961 and was formerly known as One Chase Manhattan Plaza. David Rockefeller (1915-2017), then President of Chase Manhattan Bank, was instrumental in developing this building. Don't miss the sunken Japanese rock garden and fountain by Isamu Noguchi (1904-1988) in front of it, as well as the sculpture by Jean Dubuffet (1901-1985).

I bank at JPM.  They offer near zero interest on my savings and checking account and the cash I have on hand in my investment account.  I moved my money over to Fidelity and they are paying over 4.2% on my cash in my individual investment account.  When I ask them why my accounts were not paying interest they kept steering me to CD's and other investments that tie up my money.  I believe this to be predatory banking.  I recommend everyone look at other institutions and when you find a better return to move your money and please write reviews where ever you can.
