The pleasure was truly mine to be expertly managed by Angel. She is thorough and focused to maximize our time together on days with showings it was exactly what I needed to get my bearings at first glance. Mantena and Hudson Crossing were a total treat! All the units though the 2BDR and 3BDR are maybe stretch goals, the studio and 1BDR are more my speed. The thoughtfulness of Angel to have units lined up matching my criteria across both Mantena and Hudson Crossing was stellar and encourages me to refer other prospective home owners/renters to use her in the future. I'll stay in touch and hope to make NYC my home really soon. Thanks, Angel!

I've been trying to reach the property manager for this building and I can't find any way to contact them, so I have to leave this here. This property extends from the front entrance of the property at 37th street over to 38th street, and they lack respect for their neighbors on the 38th street side that their tenants don't see. On the 38th street side, behind Brooklyn Fare supermarket, there is a dead tree on the property that hangs over the Dyer Street exit of the Lincoln tunnel. This tree has been dead for at least 4 years and sometimes drops branches on the sidewalk. I'm afraid someone is going to be badly hurt or even killed. I've tried reporting it to 311 but they said it's outside of their jurisdiction. It costs about $2,500 to take down a tree, and this property rents studios for $3,600. I'm not sure why they're risking people's lives for a job that will cost less than a month's rent, but it's reckless and careless. For a long time their supermarket tenant had turned the street into a rat infested mess, lining the streets with trash and leaving the sidewalks gooey and stained black with grime every day until the city mandated that businesses put their trash in bins. They still pile tons of boxes in the street all of the time and treat the 38th street overpass like their dump. It's a city owned overpass so they get away with it. No other building on the block is like this. There's a much larger building on the block that puts out tons of trash, but they manage to keep the sidewalks clean, the trash orderly and have it removed quickly. Mantena is the bad neighbor of the block. Of course, outside of their front door is immaculate and well maintained so I guess as long as their tenants don't have to deal with it it's fine with them.
