Called them several times over the course of 3 days to inquire about their pricing. I left all my information each time I called. They told me a sales rep will contact me shortly. They never contacted me. They dont seem reliable. So I moved on.

October 4, 2021 - I called last week to discuss my bill, budget plan, contract renewal, etc. and I allgot was arrogance and a run around, I was blatantly told that the cost per gallon would be $3.84 and that my monthly budget would be increased from the current $185 to $250. No discussion. I asked for a supervisor. I was put on hold for 15 minutes. She finally came back and said the supervisor was on anothercall and would call me back. This was at 9:45 am. I asked her to call me before 12:30 pm. I waited all day. she never called. I called back at 3:30 pm and was told she left for lunch and never came backand that "we didn't even know she left for the day." Great customer service and even better internalcommunication you guys have. Is this how you treat your loyal customers? Today, the power is with the consumer, not the company. But Romanelli doesn't seem to know or care about this, now do you? So I did what I always do - I shopped around. I found a well-known competitor (Slomin's) of yours who gave me a price per gallon that is 85 cents less than what you were willing to give me. 85 cents! I use about 900 gallons a year. This comes to a savings of $765 or $63.75 per month. So now that I canceled my account I get an email from them stating that they want to "do whatever we can" to get me back. Seriously? You have some set to even make a statement like that. "Hey, I have an idea, let's piss off a loyal customer, treat him like crap, charge him a ton more per month, per gallon, and don't return his call. That'll be a great way to keep him satisfied." Social media and the internet have changed the power dynamics in the consumer/supplier relationship. The power is now in the hand of the consumer and not the service provider. Companies such as Romanelli don't understand this. But as more consumers do what I just did, trust me, they will or they won't be around too long.

On January 27th. while in Florida, 1200 miles away from our house on Long Island, I learned from a neighbor checking our house, that one zone to my heating system was not heating a number of rooms. I contacted Romanelli and Son Oil & Heating Company for a service call. I explained the problem to a person named Lupe who took my information and assured me that a service tech would respond between 1200 and 4:00 PM. About two hours later a service tech arrived and assessed our problem and corrected it. I spoke to the service tech, Dave, on the telephone who explained the problem to me and that it was resolved. From my telephone call to their office to subsequently speaking with the service tech, both people were courteous, polite and informative! I'm very appreciative for the great service! PS: My neighbor did a great job too!
