I honestly think Ive found my dentist for life. Ive been dentist hopping for so long until I stumbled upon this place because I wanted to get some composite bonding done to my front teeth. Dentist Tommy Ye is professional and honest with his work and he takes immense pride in what he does. The bonding he did looks amazing and even when it chipped (the smallest chip ever), he noticed it right away and made sure he fixed it. The office is clean and the staff are so respectful and personal. Im so glad I found this place randomly one day and will forever stick to it for future dental work.

I came for a check-up because my usual care was not adequate. My teeth were seriously damaged and I needed fillings, root canal treatment, and dental implants. The series was explained very detailed and made sense. The prices were very reasonable. What I was most afraid of was dental implants, but after the procedure, I felt that it was not as scary or painful as I imagined. Dr. Tom was very skilled and the surgery was very successful. It was not in vain that we made the 2-hour drive here. Highly recommended!!!

This is the second dental practice Ive been to with high Google ratings. But upon visiting these practices irl, it has yet to deliver what these 5 star ratings have been saying. When you show up to your appointment, the receptionist informs you that she has been unsuccessful in getting X-rays from the previous practice. My question is why didnt they address this question when she called me two days earlier about this issue when they called me regarding my insurance card ID number. Then when I emailed her my X-rays right there, she then proceeds to inform me that my X-rays from the last practice is only covered under my insurance once every 5 years. Uh okay, again why wasnt this issue addressed two days prior when I got the phone call about my insurance ID number. She then proceeds to tell me shes not sure if checkup X-rays are covered. So basically I cant get my teeth cleaned today. It was 20 minutes pass my appointment time already. I have another engagement to attend to within the hour. A waste of my time when all of the could have been handled prior to my visit so that I can just get there to get my teeth cleaned. Just asking the general public what would your reaction be if this happened to you? What would you think about this practices front desks handling of this situation? Is the receptionist competent? Are they trained to be diligent in handling and make good use of the patients time? I guess things happen for a reason that I didnt get my teeth cleaned there. Im afraid what the hygienist would do to me since the other practice prior to this almost made me choke to death. Quite frankly, I am just scarred from going to any Flushing/Bayside dental practices.
