    When my 15-year-old dock needed a part, I thought I was in trouble. The manufacturer, from which I'd bought the dock directly, is in the Midwest and not geared to dealing long-distance with small-time issues like mine. Located three states away, Marine Blue was the closest dealer, and I wasn't sure they'd take an interest in dealing with an issue for a dock that they hadn't sold. In fact, Todd in the service department took on the challenge of determining what I needed, collecting the needed documents and photos, and taking on the role of advocate with the dock vendor. In the end, the dock company provided a replacement part at no cost to me -- and no profit to Marine Blue. I can't speak highly enough of this dealer, its people, and the service they provided.

    Marine Blue is the absolute best! They truly treat you like family. They care to get to know you and even call you by name. Todd and Crystal are amazing, always willing to answer any and every question you may have . I would recommend this place to everyone. I will definitely be buying my next boat from Marine Blue :)

    I have been taking my boat to Marine Blue since I relocated to Canandaigua four years ago. I have had excellent, and personal service since they began taking care of our boat. This fall they went far above for us, in the area of personal service. I dropped my boat off to be winterized and for a repair to be done. Shortly after that I had to have surgery and could not drive for six weeks. When my boat was finished, I explained my situation to Todd. He told me not to worry he would be happy to drop off my boat in my driveway. Which he did twenty minutes later. This was a kindness that I will always remember. Marine Blue does not only do expert and professional work but they also get to know their customers personally to provide personal service.

    Thorough and great communication. I bought an older boat that needed a lot of work. They were great at communicating with me every step of the way and it is running perfectly. They obviously take great pride in excellent work.

    I am disappointed in this company with their responses and keeping my money of $178.00. I went with Marine Blue because of their high rating on google. I made the mistake of not checking out if they were a BBB member, which they aren't. The steps for the dock I ordered came out larger than the dock I have. I ordered the size based on Marine Blue telling me how to measure for steps. They ordered steps (6 total) for 36" of water. Of course I had to accept that because they had it written on the quote and I did not pay attention to the size. I had to pay 20% for restocking fee, which I paid. I also paid for shipping and handling for everything I ordered, including the steps. They charged me $178.00 (took from money they owed me back for returning steps, minus the 20%) for another shipping fee, they claim they needed to return the steps, which was not on the quote, only the 20% restocking fee is on the quote. I finally went into the store (1 hour away) when I couldn't receive my $178.00 after several telephone attempts. Todd (the owner) saw me and said, "I thought we were over this?" He turned to Crystal (assistant) and said, "I can't deal with this today, you deal with it", and walked away. I'm not sure if that is appropriate behavior for an owner. I was always pleasant to them and never raised my voice or behaved in a condescending manner. Todd will respond to this as I see he does on his google reviews. Of course all the negative reviews he disputes, none of the customers are right. Just the thought a company does not give your money back is unbelievable. Beware consumers about paying for everything up front, as this company requires. You'll lose money while they gain it.
