  • A disgruntled Customer

    I've never had any real problems here until lately. Tim Hortons (in general) has it so you pay extra for certain things, like whipped cream and extra cream cheese for example. I've noticed the "extra cream cheese" doesn't really do anything and it's by no means "extra", it's actually typically less than what Dunkin puts on regularly. So steer clear of that, perhaps at all locations. The real turning point today that has prompted me to make a review is the interaction I had with a woman at the drive thru window. I was not greeted by her, though I greeted her. I paid extra for whipped cream, and it wasn't on when I got there. That is not by itself a big deal at all, so I just said that I paid for that and would like if they could put some on. She didn't say a single word in response to that, but turned around and began to audibly talk about it to the other workers in an annoyed tone, saying she "didn't see it" on the order. It very much felt like she assumed I was lying or something, but didn't say anything to me so I didn't really have any opportunity to clarify. I had the order ready on my phone to show (I ordered on the app) but of course that wasn't asked, since she didn't say a single word to me the entire time. She then put it on, and I said thank you, have a nice day, and again, silence. I wasn't given a straw, so I had to park and go in and get one. I didn't feel comfortable asking her for one at the window. All of these things individually are not a huge deal, but together it made me feel very inconvenient to the worker. I have worked in the industry and I understand having a bad day or whatever, but it was just rude. I didn't see a name tag but it was a younger woman who had "supervisor" on her sleeve. It was around 12:15 on Saturday July 1st. I mention that because if I did see a name, I would be giving it. Not a single decent gesture was made the entire time and I made sure to be extra nice and polite since I always feel bad when I have to ask more of a worker, especially being a person who has worked a similar job.
