Great location, updated finishes, great bathroom. Management does not care about literally anything. Included "supplies" are 8 rolls of toilet paper for 4 people for 1 month, 3 rolls of the crappiest paper towels ever, and 2 bottles of softsoap hand soap so don't think of it as a legitimate perk.Their rent payment portal never works, so I have to try multiple times over the course of days to try to get my payment to go through and customer service is not helpful. Everything is an extra charge (they don't actually clean common areas as advertised) and the phone key fob thing takes FOREVER to work. The last thing you want at the end of a long day is standing outside your building for a full minute tryiing to get the app to work, then repeating the process for your apartment and then your room. The building manager at williamsburg definitely cares and tries, but there's only so much you can do when upper management is a bunch of greedy POS's. The standard room is TINY, barely 2 feet of aisle space between the closet unit and the bed, the only way it was worth it to me was with the 12th month free on a 12 month lease. Overall, it's not bad if you have a couple hundred extra dollars and want to not think about your apartment. This is not a home it's a glorified hostel. Do with that what you will. Last note: they charge an extra $5 dollars to pay rent via ACH and up to $20 for other payment methods.

I beg of you, if you have any slight bit of self respect: Do Not Live With OutPost. From not providing the correct amenities or even any at that despite everyone else getting them, to being placed originally at the wrong location in an unventilated box with no windows. They where never responsive on any level until they where asking for money and then they threaten lawsuits for the slightest of delays. Horrible company, horrible people, horrible black mold filled rooms. Would have given 0 stars if I could.

Too many problems with the digital keys not working, cutting into sleep when I get home from work. Staff is remote and unresponsive.

Outpost club is NOT the place to live. Throughout my time at Outpost, the company they do not care to help their tenants with issues they bring up, the spaces are not cleaned and the pricing doesn't make sense for what is provided. They only care about the money and do not want their tenants to live comfortably in their units. See the many screenshots attached of emails with them when trying to leave the lease due to inability to pay rent and they continued to argue with me and were not looking for a solution. They took many days to respond and I had to follow up many times in order to get responses. Everytime I called, they rarely responded. They did not give an adequate amount of supplies for what was provided per month and when asked to provided more, they declined and told us to buy our own (see emails attached). The only reason I'm giving two stars is because the bathrooms that were provided had great quality in the showers, there was a full kitchen with a lot of space for cooking and I enjoyed my private patio. Otherwise, the rooms were tiny, the lighting terrible, not closet and not enough room to live comfortably. I would not recommend Outpost to anyone looking to live or stay in New York who wants a comfortable, affordable clean place.

There were good things and bad things about living here. Note: I moved out about a year ago. The bad things: They bait and switch you with which room youll get. When they took me on a tour they showed me a suite that had a couch and TV. When choosing my room I asked if there would be a TV. They said they would put me in the suite I toured so I would have a TV. Then later placed me in a different room without any kind of couch, living room, or TV. Other people told me a similar thing happened. One person even bought furniture for the room which didnt fit in the new room. In the lease and on the website they make it sound like you get cleaning services and all of the kitchen appliances you need. W head to purchase many things including a coffee maker, toaster, cleaning supplies. They charge for cleaning services which are very expensive. At one point they moved a couple into one of the smallest rooms in our suite who had been moved from another room. Long story short, I would often come home to the police being there. The good things: The XL rooms are actually lofts which are perfect for working from home or studying. I ended up having a view of the Empire State Building! The common spaces are nice and they keep them pretty clean. The location is unbeatable.
