Shinekwa is the BEST. She's super thoughtful with how we spend our time but also knows when to pivot and respond to my specific needs when necessary. Shinekwa levels with me but also knows when to push me past my own doubts and limitations. I also really appreciate the coaching tips she offers outside of our sessions. If I'm hitting walls with my dietary choices, she'll make the time to understand and share ideas, recipes and behaviors. When I shared that waking up early has been challenging, she shared her own practices around ice baths and morning drink routines. I truly found a holistic trainer who makes room for the full picture of my experience. It's super refreshing and most importantly, I feel great and in control of my health! If you're on the fence for any reason, I say go for it ;)

I started seeing Shinekwa in early June to address chronic back pain. Weight loss was sort of the bottom of my priorities. She made a long term plan that targeted flexibility, strengthening and muscle building and at almost 6 weeks in I could notice my back pain get shades lighter. Since, Ive lost two dress sizes, and feel like my stamina and sleep have really improved. Those are all good positive things. But in all earnest, the best thing Ive taken from my sessions with Shinekwa is having structure, motivation and perseverance. One time she said, youre gonna get there, but youll get there faster if you do the work on your ownand shes right! I am 43yrs old, and without having much consistent physical activity habits throughout my life, today find myself really craving an early start to the day so I can get a workout in. Ive never been this active in my life and I feel spry and energetic and with my back pain getting better and better every day. Shinekwa is extremely organized, dedicated and passionate about her work and I wholeheartedly recommend you take her up on her sessions. If youre gawking at her price and having sticker shock, all Ill tell you is that your worth every penny in investing in your health, and Shinekwa is worth every penny in what shell give to you. Book that session!

Shinekwa is an amazing trainer! She challenged me physically with the exercises she taught me. She would give me advice to alter a leg or shoulder or my breathing...and that would intensify the movement. She understands the body and is able to target every muscle, even the ones I didn't know I have! Having her as a trainer helped me to learn how to modify a single exercise to make it more effective as my body is changing and getting stronger. Or that no workout ever has to be boring because she's taught me how to incorporate free weights, swiss ball, a heavy ball I don't know the name of, and the machines in the gym.

Shinekwa is incredible. She meets you where youre at and helps you set goals that are actually achievable. She pushes you just enough to go further every time and gives you tips and things you can do on your own that helps you stay at it on your own as well. Base line, shes just fantastic.
