Chipotle - Williamsburg NY

I ate inside this store a few weeks ago and it was fine. Today I wanted to try the new pollo asado chicken, so I placed an online order. When I opened my bowl it maybe had a teaspoon of chicken, if that. Terrible not worth paying the extra dollar for it, I prefer the taste of their regular chicken anyway. I ate the bowl and a bag of their tortilla chips. It went down fine but a few minutes later I had the worst heartburn and upset stomach I've ever had. I was literally throwing up for like a good hour. Think I'm done with chipotle, I used to eat it all the time.

This is the most absurdly mismanaged, poorly cleaned chipotle Ive ever been to. I live around the corner and have been in a handful of times over the past year. They are constantly out of ingredients, have food scattered over all the tables, and charge you incorrectly every time. Tonight, they charged me for four guacamoles when I ordered one. They were out of salad dressing for the salad. Tables were a mess with rice and beans smeared all over. Yeah, this is chipotle and does the job but its absolutely maddening.

It was 3 stars before covid hit imo, maybe 4 depending on the staff/luck when you visited, but they have raised their prices by 50% the past 1 or 2 years, not that they're only ones with such high price hikes in this area and city. I'm on a budget and another burrito chain nearby hasn't raised their prices by nearly this much so I mostly go there now even though it's not really better in terms of taste and staff friendliness.

Reviewing because I have had multiple, consistently negative experiences with this location, which is unfortunately my closest location. Ive previously had issues with online orders missing guac or ripped burritos, but I had my worst experience today while ordering in person. While prepping my burrito, they accidentally flicked guac half-on, half-off the tortilla, rather than wipe it up and try again, they scraped the guac from the prep table into the burrito, covering the outside of the tortilla with guac. Then, instead of wrapping normally, they used the foil base to close up a half-rolled burrito, and threw it in the bag. I asked for a rewrap, the cashier handed me another tortilla and said we cant take the food back and sent me on my way. This location could not care less about the customer experience, I get that you deal with a bunch of orders nonstop all day, but I am frustrated that a simple ask that is standard at other locations was refused with no sympathy.

It's a Chipotle and of course their food is delicious. What else can I say? Good Mexican, nice location and would recommend. Five out of five stars.
