TLDR; owner is a control freak - beware of joining. I have never written a discouraging review of a business in my life but the experience I just had with this gym and the owner, David, was absolutely ridiculous and people who are considering joining should be forewarned. I was on the verge of paying $300 for a 3 month trial and after signing 10+ documents, he abruptly stopped our conversation and said he wouldn't let me join his gym. He refused to speak with me further. Shameful behavior for a business owner

I love this wonderful neighborhood gym! It's a smaller gym but has everything you need and is clean and well maintained. Despite the size you never have to wait for machines and it's never crowded. There is a range of group fitness classes (spin class, HIIT) with excellent instructors. Saying hi to the owner, Carlton, on my way in always brightens my day because he makes a point to get to know each of the members and it really makes you feel at home. He really cares about ensuring all members have a great experience. Such a difference compared to the other big corporate gyms I've been to. Highly recommend!

Please do not join this gym no matter how convenient. The owner is creepy and follows you around everywhere. Is obsessed with his gym and has put signs everywhere. Bad machines, worn out, filthy expensive for nothing. Two bathroom which are always dirty and near to no machine is in good shape.

There is a big black man who claims to be the owner and extremely rude. He is creepy and was following me around. It is not a safe gym for women, who work out in an enclosed basement being watched by the lusty eyes of this man. Please don't join, it's a pathetic overpriced and unmaintained gym. Most of all the owner is a creepy man, sure to be all in your business.
