This used to be my favorite spot with my children, never left without at least 4 books per child...wanted to keep the tradition going with my grandchildren so disappointed. No more family reading, no more spending time engaged in reading....the beautiful part is it saved me a lot of money... because they were sad they said let's just order books from Amazon and read at home...staff please remember to harass all people about sitting and not just people of color.

This Barnes and Noble location in Parkslope is definitely not a place you want your young teenager to visit. Despite being a bookstore where I have spent countless hours and thousands of dollars on books over the past 20 years, they have started treating my kids poorly in the cafe seating area and asking them to leave. Even after buying reading materials and patiently waiting to be picked up, they show no respect. Barnes and Noble, please improve your customer service or perhaps address the issue of colorism! Adults employees should not yell at kids to leave for no reason. Management does nothing to address this.

The Barnes & Noble in Park Slope is a great place to hang out and learn. The staff are very helpful and the selection is fantastic
