Have used Robert Doak's paint since the early 1990's. Excellent oil and watercolor paints. Robert is extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

I have been shopping at Robert Doak for over 20 years. His mediums are the best and his paint colors are inspired by the formulas from Raphael to contemporary artists I cannot name. His knowledge is strong and he is very passionate about the materials he makes. During this time support his this staple in the NYC art materials world!

Robert and the team have really high quality materials at a good price. I absolutely love many of his colors, vermillion red, eqyptian violet, trans blue, and the quina violet(red), and he also has great mediums and oils like cold pressed safflower oil and spike oil and this amazing stuff like goop. If you are serious about your studio practice, this is the place and Robert has an amazing history as a paint maker and figure in the NYC art community. This place is a treasure !
