    STAY AWAY FROM AT ALL COST!!! THIS CONTRACTOR WHO IS LISTED AS A "FUJITSU ELITE CONTRACTOR" VOIDS THE FUJITSU WARRANTY AS SOON AS HE INSTALLS YOUR UNIT WITH THEIR INSTALLATION METHOD!!!!! This contractor installed two Fujitsu split units in my home in 2014. In June of 2017, one of the units was not cooling. I called Peter, (the P in VP), and he came out and did no troubleshooting but immediately recharged with coolant and charged $120. Two months later, same thing A/C not cooling. I called VPCool. Peter and crew showed up and same routine...no troubleshooting but immediately recharged with coolant and a "heavy duty leak sealer", which is apparently against Fujitsu warranty. The unit cooled until June 2018. But this time I called Fujitsu wherein their rep advised that the unit is still under warranty for parts, if needed. I called VP Cool, and Peter finally came out after 5 days without A/C during heatwave. I told him unit was under warranty and TOLD him to FIND THE LEAK, and not just to recharge with leak sealer and coolant. Very arrogantly he answered there is a small leak which he could not find. I told him "How could you say that if you haven't even tried looking for it". He then went on to say that 2 to 3% of these units have this problem. I then said it both VP Cools and Fujitsu's issue, not mine as I'm the customer. HE DIDN'T LISTEN TO ME, RECHARGED WITH LEAK STOP AND COOLANT AND LEFT. I called Fujitsu and told them what VP Cool had done and as a result, they opened a case number for my unit. This step is supposed to be done by the contractor but because they saw what I was going through, opened the case based on my situation with VP Cool. I called another Fujitsu Elite Contractor as per the Fujitsu website, who troubleshooted and found the issue within 30 minutes. They noted that the leak was in one of the inside units. I said great, problem solved the unit is under warranty. THIS IS WHERE VP COOL VOIDS THE WARRANTY. The showed me that VP COOL "sweats/solders" the connections, removing the Fujitsu factory-installed couplings. In essence I had a unit that would have been replaced by the warranty but because of VP COOL's business practice it was NULL AND VOID. NOW I HAVE TO PURCHASE AN INSIDE UNIT OUT OF MY POCKET.
