Rite Aid - Closed

They need to update their hours on their website because this place is definitely NOT opened 24 hours! Just stopped by the store at 3:30am and for the 4th time this month found the front doors locked and no one inside at all. I go to work very early in the morning so I make the trip to this store only this early because it says it’s open 24 hours but it’s definitely NOT!

I get to the store around 23:38. The doors were closed No sign no body to talk to no nothing. One guy inside didn’t even bother to talk to us 5 customers at the time . He was using that sign language like no more were done . Finish no mass. Are you kidding me. Rite aid. I can tell you this much . This store is not going to last ! Go to google and update your hours . It only takes minutes. Very disappointed.

I came to this rite aid a little while ago and purchased the same chapstick that I always get, the Aquaphor lip protectant + sunscreen, and I just realized that it is expired 07/2020!!! I didn’t notice this when I purchased it since I usually don’t check for expirations because I didn’t know they sell expired products but, oh my goodness how are they still selling products that expired almost a year ago? When coming to this store please check for expiration dates, I’m sure I wasn’t the only one and there’s probably more products that are expired as well.

I have used many rite aid pharmacies over the years and can confidently say that this rite aid pharmacy is the worst I've been to. I know the pharmacists are working long and hard hours due to covid-19, but that is not an excuse for negligence. The pharmacy does not answer their phone and my prescriptions are never ready no matter how much of a heads up I give. Recently I stopped the day my psychiatrist ordered my medication, and the pharmacist said it would be filled tomorrow. I came back the next day and the pharmacist told me "the manufacturer wasn't sending the medication there anymore." If he had simply glanced at my file the day before, he would've seen this information and I would've had time to find my medication elsewhere. The pharmacist then told me to go to a different rite aid location 20 minutes away because they supposedly had the medication and when I got there, their pharmacist told me they couldn't do anything because the pharmacist who sent me hadn't taken the prescription off hold! Eventually after alerting my psychiatrist and other rite aids in the area the situation was resolved. However, I am a law school student and my academic performance is directly impacted by whether or not I have access to the medication I need; there is simply not room for error. I know these times are hard and we are all trying our best but receiving medication in a timely and accurate manner is incredibly important-- regardless of the pandemic. I would advise you to find a pharmacy elsewhere, as I have.
