        I booked a one-night stay at Hotel La Fonda de Taos on a whim, and I have to say, I am incredibly glad that I did. This historic inn right on the plaza puts you at the center of Taos history, culture, and everything the town has to offer. Its a great value with comfortable accommodations and has some unique sights for guests, like the D. H. Lawrence Forbidden Art collection thats on display. Not only that, the staff was very friendly and helpful - especially Omar at the front desk, who was so welcoming and recommended some perfect local spots in the area to visit. He is a delight, and made my visit to Taos more memorable. Im looking forward to staying at Hotel La Fonda again next time Im in town.

        Visited restaurant which was fantastic...but hotel itself needs TLC attention...hotel owners need to address the bathrooms and general maintenace of the building..

        To many homeless people hanging around the hotel and the plaza. The ones we encountered were aggressive. Rooms are ok, however in need of updates. 10.00 parking in a sketchy area. Not what I was expecting!
