Sands Motel

I called this motel for a friend that was coming to town for work, I asked them if they had weekly rates and he said he did it was 400 a week I said Ill have him call you, the owner then called me back and said he can do $350 a week, I sent my friend over there and he ended up charging him $495 for a week. Do not stay here its a roach coach motel they want a premium for, from what we have gathered from past guest the owner will charge your card for more money after you check out also. Youre far better off staying in one of the other motels near the interstate.

There is a man that works at the desk who is incredibly rude and cussed at me for asking about the Wi-Fi this man then tried to charge me more money than the reservation I had made on Expedia. I was dealing with this person's wife who was actually quite nice when this incredibly rude man interjected to cause conflict. If you don't believe me read all of the one-star reviews were they mentioned this incredibly rude man. This hotel is dirty there are no guests here at all and the man will try to bait and switch you to get more money. Go elsewhere. I do not post negative reviews usually but this place is horrible. Safety: This is not a safe place it is in a sketchy part of town poorly lit with homeless people everywhere

Do not, do not book here despite the low price. The wife of this establishment is pleasant but the man is insane. On arrival my son tried to check in and was told that they he would not honor the Expedia reservation and began to curse and complain and threaten. Do not know how this hotel could be listed on the Expedia site. What a terrible looking, dirty place. BEWARE

Had a horrible experience. The police knocked at my door for unknown reasons. Someone keep slamming their door I thought my vehicle was being vandalized, The manger came knocking on my door, then called I couldn't get no rest so I left the property now im sleeping in my truck that's not the end!! They ended trying to charge $500 then another$ 200 like oh my goodness what a nightmare Safety: They need security

The male member of front desk staff has no morale and shows low class behavior, and has audacity to be abusive and aggressive with the guest and also over the phone. Who knows long this gonna have a future with such people working there. What a shame and embarrassment.
