Right at Home

During 2022 and 2023 I contracted with Right at Home to provide companionship for my wife, Linda, who has dementia I could no longer provide 24/7 care for her. Not really knowing what to expect I was over joyed by the caregivers and the manner in which Linda was taken care of by these wonderful people. We started out with, I think four days a week, and soon went to five. Later on as Linda grew worst we went to six days a week. The office staff was always ready and willing to help in whatever I needed at any time. I cannot say enough about the ladies who came to our home and gave Linda what she needed. They went all over the city visiting many, many sites and places. Even though she could not remember their names, she always started to get ready long before they arrived and would run to the door to greet them. They truly became her friends who gave her a lot of joy during this time, in which she could still function with a little help from them. After using Right at Home for 11 months, I had to move Linda into a memory care home in May. Since we had started dating in high school and had been together for 60 years this has been very traumatic for me. From the bottom of my heart I will always remember that these people allowed us to have our final year living together as a happy and pleasant time.

They send thieves, specifically while you're on pain meds. Michelle and Brian are the thieves. They took everything that was dear to me.

I've been a caregiver for the last 20 years, and of the few agencies I've worked for I can honestly say that Right at Home is by far the best place to work for. I don't want to name any one individually, because I don't want to leave anyone from the company out, but the office staff is the best! The kindest, most understanding group of people that are there to help you, and that understand any situations you have that might arise. I love the clients that I work for, and also the flexibility the company offers with my schedule. They are upfront regarding pay-scale when you're hired, so there are no surprises there, and they offer lots of incentives to cover shifts. Great place to work for

Want to work for four years at a place that gives you a 1$ raise after getting caregiver of the year, over that four year span? and working 40+ hours a week on average? Heres the place! Enjoy incessant calls at ungodly hours of the day for you to cover shifts? Heres the place! Shame on this caregiver agency for even implying, and giving you a badge that says we love our caregivers. You are cannon fodder if you work here. Period.
