You can stop looking around for a contractor to do your fireplace in Albuquerque. Go with American Fireplace and you will be happy you did.
Steve did a perfect job converting our gas fireplace back into a wood burning fireplace with a gas log starter. 10/10.

Steve is literally the best guy for the job. Hes local and a small business owner who does quality work and keeps you up to date on the status of the job. I would 1000% recommend him to anybody needing any and all fireplace work.

A year ago Steve fixed a pilot light issue with our 30+ year old gas fireplace. This year the primary controller went out. Steve was able to get the parts needed and do the repairs. Fireplace is working perfect again - and with the new part will likely do so for another 30+ years. A lot less expensive than replacing the whole thing. Fast, efficient, and courteous. Id recommend him in a minute. Only downside is that he is so good and busy that he usually is booked solid for 2-3 months out. That in itself says something. Someone else may be able to get you an appointment earlier, but believe me when I say Steve at American Fireplace Installations is well worth the wait.

Steve came by and got my electric fireplace back working in less than thirty minutes. He came in with a great positive personality and diagnosed the problem immediately. He then took the time to make sure we were operating the fireplace correctly. I would not hesitate to contact him again in the future! Thank you Steve!

Wow. We had a fireplace shutdown and Steve Morrison fixed everything. He really knows the ins and outs of these gas fireplaces. Its better than ever!!!! Then he went to my neighbor Judy and fixed hers. She had had many fireplace companies try to help but no luck. She called & thanked me for 20 minutes.
