We had a gunite saltwater pool installed 3-4 years ago w/ ZERO previous experience in owning this type of pool. Our installers were great about showing up and putting the pool in, but they gave no explanation of regular maintenance once the project was completed. Because of this, our pool chemistry became out of control, and our pool plumbing, filters, heater, skimmer, etc. suffered a good bit of calcium scale and debris build-up with which we had no experience in handling. I knew something had to be done, but I had no idea in what direction to head. Upon taking a water sample into Matt's for chemistry review and suggestions, we were provided with information WAY beyond what was expected. They not only tested the water and explained the process and chemicals needed to fix it, but once we communicated our inexperience with this type of pool, they immediately started explaining the daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly maintenance required to ensure our pool stayed balanced and how to potentially prevent any future torture that we could inadvertently place on our system. I would highly recommend Matt's as: 1) I love to shop local if the value is added (AND IT IS) and 2) They are true experts that only see benefit in sharing their knowledge. Thank you!

9.23.23. I was a Leslie pools kind of person but have been disappointed with service. The last two times I've been at Matt's pool, the quality of service has been outstanding. I think I'm done with the other pool store and stick with Matt's.
