        I held my 40th birthday here and it was the perfect venue! The space was great and very unique. The staff were all amazing to work with. From start to finish everyone was very accommodating and willing to work with me in order to achieve my goals. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to have a party!

        Was supposed to have our wedding there in August 2023. Due to unfortunate circumstances we had to cancel our wedding almost a year in advance. Our caterer give us back 80% of our deposit. Understandably, they said they could not but may be able to do a credit for another event. I followed up with Julie multiple times and she clearly ghosted me. A simple no we are sorry we cannot would have sufficed. Completely unprofessional and unhelpful during a difficult time. I find it funny because I still get all their emails, so Julie clearly still works there. Now that our wedding has been rescheduled I can confirm there are way better (less pricey and pretentious) with caring staff! Avoid this place at all costs!

        What an incredible venue! We just had my bridal shower at The James Ward Mansion this past weekend and everything was impeccable. I'll be recommending this venue to anyone that will listen. Julie and her team made everything a seamless process.

        The James Ward Mansion was an amazing experience from start to finish. Julie was always available to answer our questions and made the process a lot less stressful. Our wedding day was perfect and the colors we chose allowed the place to pop even more than it did already. The mansion has preferred caterers which sometimes might seem like a downside if you already have someone in mind but we used them and it turned out perfect. The caterers were amazing and we had great reviews from our family and friends. This venue is great for any event and it has an elevator if anyone needs it. Our day was perfect thank you for everything.

      Dear Emily,We are very disappointed to read your review. I would like to clarify some of the facts. When you booked with the Mansion you were made aware that we do not offer refunds on bookings but that we will always work with our couples to find another date should circumstances arise beyond anyones control. In this situation you emailed Julie on August 23, 2022, stating that you needed to cancel your wedding at the mansion. That is the last communication we received from you. Should you have contacted us we directly we would have been happy to work something out with you for another date. At no point did you ask for a refund. With regards to the caterer. We have spoken to all our catering partners, we are unable to confirm who you booked with. A year out from your event you would have paid no more than 10% with them, which would be non refundable so we are not sure where the 80% came from. It is also strange to us after no correspondence from you for over 18months to then receive this review. As is our policy we are happy to honor your credit if you reach out to us directly.
