I met Carla when I was leaving the NYC area and looking to buy a home in the South Orange/Maplewood/Montclair are of NJ - for me and my young son. I was immediately impressed with how knowledgeable she was about the history, the architecture, and the pros/cons of each house that we visited. She knew the area so well, and genuinely took the time to understand my needs, priorities and personal style. Within two weeks she found a perfect house for me and my son. A few years later, as much as I hated to leave South Orange, I realized I needed to move closer to family. I reached out to Carla, and she was incredibly supportive throughout the process. She suggested that I first make sure that I really wanted to move. She then spent the next few weeks coaching me on the best strategies of listing a home in the area market (timing of listing, how to handle open houses and multiple bids, etc.). She connected me with a painter, a home stager, a home repair man to help me prepare to list the house. All vendors worked around my schedule, because they loved Carla and knew that she was involved. Carla helped make the process very smooth and seamless. Within two weeks I had multiple offers on the house, and was very pleased with the result. If you are looking for a realtor to work with, I highly recommend working with Carla. She is a genuine person, a true professional, very knowledgeable and such a pleasure to work with!

Carla was truly amazing to work with. Her guidance, patience and historical knowledge of not only South Orange and Maplewood, but surrounding areas, was crucial to helping our family find the perfect home. She made the entire home buying process easier to understand for us as first-timers, and gave us the knowledge we needed to make the right decisions. I cant say enough about how fantastic our experience was working with Carla to purchase our very first house. She was there every step of the way with great advice. We felt 100% supported at all times during a process that is naturally stressful! Carla is extremely knowledgeable and really thinks through what an individual family needs. Once we found our home, Carla kept in close touch to keep us on track and make sure we had all of the information we needed. We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with her!

We had been engaging with Carla for almost 2 years before we started looking to buy a house. At the time, we were based in Brooklyn and debating about moving to the suburbs / figuring out what we could afford. Carla treated us with kindness and respect, giving us all the information we needed to help our decision making. Then in 2021 when we started to look, she helped us work through the process. What stands out about Carla is she isn't pushy but guides at the same time. She encourages you to think about what is best for your family and situation. She is incredibly knowledgeable about the mechanics of old homes and maintenance needs, which was super helpful in evaluating the pros and cons of various houses. We viewed29 houses with her help over a span of about 2.5 months. When she wasn't available, she was always able to arrange for her partner or someone else to show us a home. Lastly, post-purchase Carla didn't disappear like most realtors. Quite the opposite, she was always available and super responsive, constantly answering our home ownership questions and providing reliable recommendations for every type of vendor we needed.Highly recommend her!
