RS Mannino architected and built my home from the ground up. From beginning to end and in every phase of the project, they were thorough, detail oriented and attentive (just to list a few). We could not have asked for a better team and truly have had an incredible experience. Saying we highly recommend Rosario and his team is an understatement!

We hired Mannino Architecture for their design services as we had already started the project with a different architect and contractor. They really helped us with the renovation of three bathrooms, a kitchen and pantry. They made the process a lot less painful, even a little bit fun, in picking out the materials and thinking through the function of each space. We highly recommend Mannino Architecture not only for their design services but their level of friendly professionalism.

We hired RS Mannino to do a total gut and renovation on our home in Rutherford. From our first meeting Rosario was very clear on the job he would do. He broke down the costs and scope of the project. He worked with our budget and vision to make our project a success.
Throughout the project Rosario and his team were diligent, timely and mindful of our plans and budget. Rosario communicated with us throughout every step of the project. Bi weekly walk throughs during construction kept us in the loop of any issues.
Rosario also utilized apps and software so we could monitor our budget and timeline. This was another great way that we were able to monitor the process.
Now that the house is completed our family is estactic at the end result. We had a 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath 1929 house before the gut renovation. Now we have a modern 4 br, 3.5 bath house including a designer kitchen, a master suite with walk in closet and a finished basement with a home theater room. Truly an amazing outcome.
Overall Rosario and his team were very attentive to our wishes and budget. They communicated issues immediately so there were little to no surprises.

When my husband and I were relocating back to Rutherford, the real estate market was limited. After losing bids on turn-key options, we turned our attention to renovation options and Rosario and his team at R.S. Mannino were with us every step until completion. Below is a summary of our experience.
Initially, we hired Rosario to provide consultative services to us at the house shopping stage. He walked the sites on a couple of houses, listened to what we wanted in a home, and provided ballpark estimates for renovations. After working with him at this stage, we knew we had found a great partner to work with on our renovation. We could tell that his standard of quality and aesthetic were aligned to ours.
Once our bid was accepted, Rosario got to work on drafting up the plans for our reno and providing the documentation required by our lender. His designs were thoughtful, functional and high quality. He was great at listening to our requests and must haves and made adjustments based on our feedback.
Once we broke ground in October of 2020 there were very many issues that stalled our project. These were not Rosarios fault but rather supply chain and workforce issues that resulted from the pandemic. After several stalls related to lumber supply and scheduling the framers, we got through that phase of the project and pressed on.
Throughout the project, any time we had a question about something or asked for new options on part of the project, the team at R.S. Mannino was highly responsive - we always got a response within the same day. The team continued to listen to our feedback throughout and pivoted to ideas for further improvements.
I want to give a special shout out to Rosarios kitchen designer, Kim, whose recommendations made the arduous task of high volume decision-making very enjoyable. Kim is amazing at what she does and Im blown away by how beautifully her designs came to life.
We have had several people comment on the high quality of the materials and design of our home. Now that we have been living in our home for over a year and are finally settled in, I wake up every morning and am still blown away by the design and beauty of the place where I live. In short, Rosario and his team built us our dream home!
